FMX TECHNIQUES 3 CEU’s Fee: $95.00 Course Objectives: The participants will be prepared to properly place and expose an FMX on a mannequin, recognize errors in exposure and processing of radiographs. The participants will also process, mount, and evaluate radiographs. HIPAA UPDATE (Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act) 1 CEU Fee: $55.00 Course Objectives: Participants gain knowledge by reviewing the national standards to protect an individual’s personal health information, including steps to be HIPAA compliant and gain knowledge in submitting paper claims and electronic transactions. TOPICAL FLUORIDE & CORONAL POLISHING EXAM PREP 6 CEU’S Fee: $195.00 Course Objectives: Upon completion, the participants will gain information to challenge the Topical Fluoride & Coronal Polishing Exams administered by the Dental Assisting National Board. The participants will gain knowledge in the use and application of fluoride. Course provides two-year certification. AHA HEART SAVER 2-CEU's, 2 Year certification Fee: $60.00 Course Objectives: For Daycare Providers, Security Guards, Educators, and Body Artists. Upon completion of the course the student will be able to demonstrate performing CPR to an adult, child, or infant. Participants will demonstrate application of sealants from the beginning to end of the procedure. Medical Emergency Training for the Dental Office 2 CEU’s Fee: $95.00 Participants will gain knowledge in the administration, risks, & patient care issues which also include managing medical emergencies & preventive measures. Participants will discuss the handling of the oxygen & nitrous cylinders, proper change out & how to examine leaks within the piping systems and will understand requirements for dental offices.
